Instant Pot Easy Tiffin Sambar / Paasiparuppu Sambar / Moongdal Sambar(Toddlers Friendly Recipe)

This is a simple recipe done by just dumping all the ingredients, then cook and atlast the seasoning with few ingredients that goes well with idly, dosa and pongal. The spice level will be mild so that you can feed to a six months baby too. I have already posted the same recipe with PRESSURE COOKER METHOD. Check out my other Sambar varieties...

3. Press the manual for 12 mins in High Pressure HP in sealed position. Then do Natural Pressure Release NPR.

4. Open the lid. Mash well using a wooden spatula or a masher.

5. Do the tempering with the mentioned ingredients. Add the tempering to the moongdal mixture.

6. Garnish with coriander leaves.

7. Easy tiffin Sambar is ready to serve.

Notes:

This sambar should be a little watery (after a while it becomes little thick because of the dal) that goes well with idlys and dosas, pongal. Adding shallots instead of onions will tastes even better.
Tamarind and sambar powder is not necessary for this recipe....
